Our next read for Bookshelf Treasures is:

Bookshelf Treasures: A Gift From the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Our February selection is truly a bookshelf treasure, first published in 1955. Anne Morrow Lindbergh wrote this classic book, which is graceful, lucid, and lyrical. She offers her meditations on youth and age, love and marriage, peace, solitude, and contentment while on a brief vacation by the sea.

Her own history includes being a mother of five, an acclaimed writer, and a pioneering aviator. This small book, now 70 years old, has had a 25-year reprint as well as a special 50-year anniversary edition. It is both a time capsule and a timeless voice for women in 2025.

Join us for a wonderful, wise, and uplifting exploration of the journey of all women.

P.S. My first mother-in-law, Thelma Vincent, gifted me this book as a birthday present when I turned 23. I will turn 83 in May 2025.
