Meet the artist:

I am a creative person who focuses on the beauty of life. I was always interested in art but did not start drawing or painting until my daughters were tots. At the age of two my eldest asked me to draw a flower so I picked up a colored pencil and drew a darling viola. "OMG," I thought, "I can draw!" From those colored pencil flowers I moved to watercolor, then acrylic, then oils and now back to acrylic. Over the years I have painted a few commissions, gifts for friends and family, and memories for myself. I have a large painting in my bedroom that commemorates a magical raven encounter in the forest.

When Kaye asked what I can contribute to CAW I instantly thought of a painting session. I have seen them done online before and while it is not the same as in person, I think it will still be great fun.

Will you join me?
